Reclaim this space
Reading up on the WP FAQ, it seems that at the present time there is no way to delete a blog and have its space reclaimed. I fail to see why someone can’t just create an account specifically for this. Then people could transfer their blogs to this account, which would then dispense them to those who try to register the accounts. The current method is programmatically convenient, but utterly braindead. What a complete waste.
If someone wants this account, please write a comment here. I’m afraid I won’t be able to respond until April 2010, however.
